Man charged with Downtown Crossing jeweler holdup

Proof it pays for police to get copies of wanted posters came this morning when officers who'd just been handed one for a March 5 robbery nabbed the guy on the poster.

Neil Finn, 41, was charged with a March 5 armed holdup at Ultra Diamonds, 285 Washington St. Police report that officers in the A-1 station were handed posters with his photo this morning:

Soon thereafter, officers out on patrol observed an individual fitting the description. Officers approached the suspect with 'WANTED' poster in hand. The suspect looked at the flyer and then stated "That's me on the wanted poster."
