Assault and battery with a dangerous wine glass

Boston Police report arresting a patron of the Cosmopolitan Bar, 276 Bennington St. in East Boston, after he allegedly hit another patron in the face with a wine glass at closing time this past Friday.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Carlos Pemberthy, 21, of East Boston, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and, after he allegedly threatened other patrons, with witness intimidation. The bar was cited for allowing a patron-on-patron assault.
