What's going on at Edgemere Green in West Roxbury?

A day after police arrested an Edgemere Road resident on drug and gun charges, they arrested another Edgemere Road resident on drug and gun charges.
Allen McKelton, 37, of 118 Edgemere Rd., was arrested Friday evening on a variety of charges after, police say, they found: A loaded 9mm Ruger Firearm, two large capacity magazines (loaded), a tazer "stun gun", a digital scale, a surveillance camera, packaging materials and numerous plastic bags containing a total of roughly 54 grams of crack cocaine.
Innocent, etc.

That's the Georgetown
That's the Georgetown housing development, and it's full of people on housing vouchers. Because of the way it was laid out, it's separated from the rest of the surrounding community, so basically it's just more public housing like the Washington-Beech mess. No surprise that there's drugs and guns in there.

Maybe what's going on is the police are cleaning up the area & getting rid of some of the criminals. Good!
I don't think Edgemere is part of Georgetown - it's near there, though.

Technically Georgetowne is part of West Roxbury but a Hyde Park zip. If you look at an acurate map its within the WR border.
