Lower East Mills?
Where in hell did that come from? I never heard that even once in the 37 years I lived in Lower Mills.
I've been in Watertown for 15 years now, though. Anyone from Dorchester ever hear a neighborhood called that name?

I'd call that Neponset, I think
rather than Lower Mills. Am I wrong?
Probably, Ron
The scene of the accident is definitely Neponset.
The section marked on the map as "Lower East Mills" might conceivably be thought of as part of Lower Mills or of Neponset, though. It was the designation "Lower East Mills" that I found bizarre.

Sometimes I think Google Maps just makes stuff up
For copyright reasons, of course.
Remember Newstead Montegrade?
"Lower East Mills / Cedar Grove" is another toponym that came straight from the US Geological Survey database. Go to http://edcsns17.cr.usgs.gov/EarthExplorer/ and enter "Lower East Mills" into the search form.
Oddly, it knows nothing about "Lower Mills" at all, other than that being the name of a road in Madison, Maine.
Cedar Grove
Hi Sul & Co.... Neponset is comprised of St, Ann's Parish, Cedar Grove is comprised of St. Brendan's & Lower Mills is St. Greg's...>St. Mark's area is that of St, Marks....
