Roxbury stabbing victim dies

UPDATE: Arrest made.

Boston Police report that one of two men stabbed early on May 3 at 349 Dudley St. has died.

Police say both victims, one 19, the other 21, managed to get themselves to Boston Medical Center. The younger victim suffered a non-fatal wound to the hip; the older man, John Paul Torres of Mattapan, however, did not survive.

Police say he is the city's 18th murder victim this year. The incident took place a couple blocks away from where a teen was gunned down this morning; although he is still alive, police expect him to die.
