Pack of thugs stomp, rob couple in Allston

Boston Police report arresting three people for their part in a mob attack on a man and woman walking on Western Avenue in North Allston around 12:30 Tuesday morning:

One of the male suspects stated, "why do you have a Yankee's hat"? The male victim was speaking on his cellular phone at the time and did not reply. The suspect then stated, "I need a cell phone". The suspect then grabbed the phone and punched the victim in the face. The victim fell to the ground where he was kicked repeatedly. The victim's girlfriend assisted him by attempting to remove the suspect. While doing so, she noticed that she broke the suspects gold chain from his neck. The female victim went on to state that she was attacked by the other members of the group for her hair was pulled and she was thrown to the ground. While on the ground, she was punched, kicked and spit on. The group then fled.

Police say an officer on his way to meet the victims noticed a car going the wrong way on Coolidge Street with a group inside. Police say the victims identified three of the five people in the car as their attackers.

Gammada Musa, 19, of Boston, Moses Yiga, 19, of Waltham and Lisa Lewis, 17, of Waltham, were arrested on charges of unarmed robbery, assault and battery and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (shod foot).

In February, Musa was arrested (last item) on a charge of breaking and entering. In September, he was charged with breaking into a car.
