Police: Victim delivers muggers to police station

Boston Police report a man mugged in his own car by two guys he gave a ride to did some quick thinking on spotting the D-4 police house Sunday morning: He drove the wrong way down a one-way street and began blaring his horn.

Sure enough, that got the attention of officers exiting the station, who stopped the car and arrested Paul Leshore, 47, on charges of armed robbery and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (a knife) and Franco Simmons, 26, on a charge of armed robbery.

Innocent, etc.

No, but the difference is that he wasn't a uniformed officer, and he wasn't protesting construction details.

But next time, don't give rides to strangers.

I'm surprised they didn't ticket him for driving the wrong way on the one-way and then arrest him for disturbing the peace...
