Punched in the head for a scooter in Uphams Corner

Boston Police report a man riding a scooter down Dudley Street yesterday afternoon was attacked by three guys - two of whom he knew - who surrounded him, then began punching him until he got off the scooter, which they then made off with.

Police say officers soon spotted one of the three riding around on the guy's scooter.

Tyson Jenkins, 20, of Dorchester, and a 16-year-old, also from Dorchester, were both charged with unarmed robbery and assault and battery. The third suspect remains at large, police say.
