Police: Black guy claims he mugged little old white lady because white people, government mistreat him

Boston Police report arresting a black Hyde Park man on charges he ripped an 87-year-old white woman's purse out of her hands at the Shaw's, 1377 Hyde Park Ave., around 5:40 p.m. on Thursday.
Police say Carmello Meus, 25, asked the woman for money for cigarettes and that when she opened her purse to give him a cigarette, he grabbed her purse and ran toward Gordon Avenue, where he lives. Police add:
The suspect stated he stole "the white woman's money" because he has been treated poorly by white people and the government for a long time.
Innocent, etc.
