Four charged with bloody attack near North Station

A 21-year-old man was in critical condition after being stabbed repeatedly early this morning on Friend Street, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.

Conner Leary, 20, James McLaughlin, 22, and Daniel Walsh, 22, all of Dorchester and Michael Mullen, 22 of Quincy, were all arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after what the DA's office said was a fight that broke out in a nearby apartment building, then spilled into the street.

Three of the four attackers allegedly tried to get away in a cab, but police officers who spotted bruised and bloody guys in a cab ordered the driver to stop, "prompting witnesses to exclaim, 'That's them."

Innocent, etc.
