Punched in the face, stabbed in daylight mugging in East Boston

District A-7 reports that when a man walking on Porter Street near Bremen Street around 3 p.m. on Tuesday refused to give a young dude a dollar, the guy punched him the face and an accomplice then grabbed him from behind and knocked him to the ground:

Both of the suspects began to assault him by punching him and kicking him while he was on the ground. The victim further reports that during the assault the suspects attempted to grab his gold chain but were unsuccessful. The victim reports that during the assault he was screaming and fighting back, further reports that one of the unknown suspects stabbed him. The victim further reports that the after the incident both suspects ran away from the scene and he made his way towards the East Boston health center.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a stab wound to his upper right leg and his other injuries, all described as non life threatening.

The initial puncher is described as Hispanic, in his 20s, about 5'3" and weighing 110 lbs, wearing a red ball cap. The other guy is described as Hispanic, in his 30s, about 5'9", weighing 200 lbs. and wearing black clothes and a black ball cap.
