Three teens arrested for two Jamaica Plain muggings last night
Bold punks evaded the cops looking for them after a mugging last night and held up another man soon after - but were undone thanks in part because of yesterday's election, according to Capt. John Greland at District E-13.
Greland reports officers were called to Cornwall Street around 6:40 p.m. yesterday after a man reported being robbed of his cell phone.
Later in the evening, cops working the polls at English High and officers from the gang unit arrested three teens - 15, 16 and 17, all from JP - for holding up a man at Newbern and John A. Andrew streets.
Greland says the three managed to play it cool after the first mugging: "It should be noted that earlier the suspects had made eye contact with officers that were staked out in the area, but obviously it did not deter them."
