The Globe reports a dispatcher at Boston Cab on Kilmarnock Street was beaten and robbed at gunpoint by two men this morning. Boston Police tweet one suspect quickly apprehended but that the other remains at large, police say. The white Honda they used to get away was found on Ipswich Street.

Not a driver
Location seems to be the Boston Cab dispatch office on Kilmarnock.
Updated, thanks
The Globe has more; I've linked to their report.
Credit Card payments delivered as cash???
This line in the Globe's report caught my attention, especially related to the discussions that have popped up on this board about cabbies' resistance to credit card payments: "With the new credit card paying system, cab drivers must convert that money to cash and pass it into the dispatch center." Can anyone verify that that's how CC payments are being handled? It seems ridiculous.
Never mind...
Okay, the report on boston.com has been edited and that quote no longer appears.
