Police: Mission Hill party ends with cop punched in face
Boston Police report a "visibly intoxicated" woman objected to her 8 Sunset St. party being broken up early Sunday by punching a responding officer in the face - which police say started a melee that ended with three more party-goers getting arrested.
On arrival, officers were directed to a 2nd floor apartment. Once outside the door, officers could hear loud music clearly coming from within the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, officers observed what appeared to be several college-aged individuals in possession of and consuming alcohol. Upon seeing the officers, several individuals yelled, "Cops!!!" and attempted to flee the location.
Amada Smith, 21, and Eric Volstad, 23, both listed as Boston residents, Alden Ladd, 21, of Brookline and David Kreindel, 25, of Roxbury, were all charged with resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer and disturbing the peace.

Actually the ful report says Susnet St which is in Mission Hill. Also B-3 covers Mission Hill/Roxbury and C-11 covers Dorchester.

This is what happens when you type "8 Sunset St., Mattapan, MA" into Google Maps and it comes up as "8 Sunset Ln. Dorchester, MA," which is close enough to Mattapan that it might be something B-3 responds to. Plus, BPD occasionally makes mistakes with streets vs. roads vs. drives (who doesn't?) I was also an idiot because one of the arrestees is a recent Northeastern grad, i.e., somebody more likely to be partying on Mission Hill than down by Mattapan. In any case, thanks for the correction.
One correction, though: While C-11 covers most of Dorchester, B-3 and B-2 cover parts of the neighborhood, too (the area near Mattapan and Uphams Corner, respectively). Even C-6 has a piece - Harbor Point.

this girl weighs like 100 lbs. 5'4...no cops were punched in the face. cops did however break down TWO doors in the apt, used unnecessary force on Amanda, who was about to go to sleep at this point...these cops are thugs and should not be given such responsibility of breaking up a college party. hope these kids get their charges dropped, what a way to spend your 21st bday.
