Cops try to check coat thief

MugBoston Police report they're looking for this guy in connection with a series of coat thefts in the Back Bay.

Police say that on Dec. 3, he was almost caught at the North Face store, 326 Newbury Street:

He removed a coat from the rack and was leaving the store when confronted by store security. He pushed the security officer to the ground and punched him in the face. Security was able to hold onto coat. Suspect fled area.
