Watch for Northeastern to
Watch for Northeastern to announce a 15% tuition increase to provide more security along Huntington Ave. They will then purchase Aoun another $9 million townhouse in Beacon Hill, build some luxury skyscrapers to house 18 year old children who scored 1050 on their SAT's, and then raise tuition an additional 10%.
Bitter much?
Welcome to America, now go sit on your high-horse somewhere else. Without our country's higher education system (which obviously isn't perfect, as you so eloquently explained) our workforce would not have the training and expertise that is needed to compete in today's job market. And these 18 year-olds that you speak of help to support local businesses along Columbus and Huntington Avenues, so maybe security SHOULD be increased so they aren't scared away by violent crime.
I'm not sure why you're so bitter, but I think the real issue here is the safety (or lack-thereof) in our city. So how about we blame the people who are supposed to keep us safe?

Did Mike Ross blame it on a Northeastern kid?
