Police hunt cat strangler in Hyde Park

Boston Police report finding a cat deliberately strangled around 7:15 this morning at 3 Frazer St. in Hyde Park:

Officers located an orange colored cat hanging from the railing of the first floor rear deck with an electrical wire tied around its neck. Based upon the amount of fresh, untainted snow, below and around the dead animal, officers believed the cat was placed there from an individual who had access from within the first floor apartment.

Animal Control was called in to take the dead cat away, after police failed to find anybody willing to claim ownership of the animal.
