Police: South Boston convenience-store holdup fail
Boston Police report that employees at the Store 24, 555 E. Broadway, thought they were doing a good deed when they agreed to let this kid stay inside while he waited for the bus around 11:40 last night.
But when the bus came, the kid refused to move, got disruptive, even, and clerks called police:
The suspect then started pushing the clerks and tried to open the cash register by pushing the buttons on the cash register screen. The suspect then further created a disturbance by ripping the lottery tickets from the wall behind the counter.
So instead of boarding a bus, the 16-year-old got a ride to C-6 for booking on charges of attempted unarmed robbery, assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
Innocent, etc.
