Police: East Boston teens used brass knuckles to punch out, rob other teens

Boston Police report arresting three East Boston youths after a melee outside the White Hen Pantry on Byron Street Saturday night.

Police say some kids were hanging out in front of the store around 10:30 p.m., when three other kids came up to them and started "harassing" them:

When the victims attempted to walk away, the suspects chased after them and began an altercation. During the altercation, three of the victims state they were punched and one of the victims says his wallet was stolen. Additionally, one of the victims says the person who hit him was wearing brass knuckles.

Brandon Amodeo and John Franco, both 17, and a third teen, 16, were charged with armed robbery and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (brass knuckles).
