Quincy man charged with sidewalk rage in the South End after he puts woman in hospital with head injury

Boston Police report John Harris was about to cross paths with a 60-year-old woman at E. Concord and Albany streets around 8:30 this morning when he shoved her to the ground.
The woman fell backward, hitting her head on the pavement police said, adding:
The male suspect then stood over the elderly victim and stated, "You better keep quiet and keep your mouth shut!"
A worker at nearby Boston Medical Center rushed to help the woman, who is now at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
Harris, 36, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery which caused serious bodily injury.
