Brothers charged with armed robbery in Brighton
Boston Police report arresting the men after they allegedly roughed up and robbed a man in his Brighton apartment Tuesday afternoon.
Ariel Halevy, 23, and Yehuda Halevy, 25, are charged with armed robbery following an incident at 93 Williston Rd. around 5 p.m.:
According to the victim, the suspect and an accomplice entered his apartment, roughed him up and stole his money. During the robbery, the victim says that the suspect showed a knife. With the robbery completed, the victim says the suspects ordered him to leave the location. Once outside, the victim called police. Officers noted and observed that the victim had abrasions on his face and neck.
Police say they found the two still in the building.
The two were freed after paying $250 bail, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office, which says they were arraigned today in Brighton District Court.
