Yet another Sovereign Bank branch robbed, this time by a Yankees fan

Boston Police tweet the Sovereign Bank branch at 43 Kneeland St. was held up this afternoon by a skinny black guy, about 5'10", with a scruffy goatee and wearing a Yankees cap. He fled on foot.

The branch was last robbed Jan. 11 - by somebody not wearing a Yankees cap.

To say nothing of general jerkwadness. I would advocate arresting anyone wearing a Yankee ballcap, unless they are younger than 12 or an actual professional ballplayer, just to be on the safe side.

What the heck *is* it with Sovereign Banks anyway? Is it just me or do they seem to get hit disproportionally compared to, I don't know, BoA or Citizens or what have you?
