Another murder along troubled Dorchester avenue

At 4 Milton Ave. around 6 a.m, Boston Police report. The victim was a man in his 40s, found lying on the sidewalk, police say.

Series of murders, shootings and gun arrests along Woodrow Avenue.

I was stunned (don't know why) by a Herald commenter who asked "This is breaking news? Must be a slow news day over at the Herald!" ... um yes, the death of a human being - someone being shot and found on a city street, is news in our city.
