Woman choked, knocked to ground in Allston cell-phone robbery

BU Police report a woman was jumped from behind while walking in front of 1092 Comm. Ave. (across from the supermarket) around 2:15 a.m. on June 17.

The suspect took her phone, then ran down Naples Street, police say. He's described as a light-skinned black male, 5'10" with a slim build and wearing a black hat, black shirt and khaki shorts.
