MBTA Transit Police report they are continuing to hunt a woman for an attack on another woman on a Red Line train at Park Street this past July. Police say the two got into an argument that ended with the suspect slapping and scratching her opponent:
Prior to the incident the suspect stated, "I'm from Quincy and I'll kill you bitch."

security cameras
What is the point of having security cameras that give such a crap image? The pix of that woman are about as good as a drawing made by a blind person
Image Quality
I agree with your opinion on the poor images that appear. This past spring I was over at T Police HQ to look at images of a person the police were looking for. The clarity of those images were striking. It was the same as watching it on a flat screen at home. I guess the images loose something when displayed on the Internet. Every detail was very well defined. Another thing to ponder, those cameras are everywhere on the T.
Not all security cameras are
Not all security cameras are the same.
Even when you do have a suspect on a modern camera, you don't necessarily want people to know that those cameras can count the pores in their face. People might start resisting if they knew what was going on.
