Boston Police report arresting a Brighton woman on charges she stabbed another woman in the leg around 1 p.m. today at 61 Hano St. in Allston.
Police say Maria Martins, 44, of Brighton, was in an argument with a 28-year-old woman when she pulled out a knife and stabbed her opponent in the leg. That woman was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital and is expected to survive.
Martins will be arraigned Monday in Brighton District Court on a charge of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.

that'll teach her to keep her
that'll teach her to keep her mouth shut.
Being arrested?
Being stabbed?
Do you have a witness account that a little IP logging could compel? A little FYI: just because you don't log in doesn't mean that you can't be traced.
I guess she wasn't going for
I guess she wasn't going for the femoral artery, or it could be attempted murder.
There's also lots of things in the leg that could cripple for life if cut.
Maybe she wasn't really trying to injure the other woman, or maybe she got leniency in the charges for being female?
