DA: Jamaica Plain teen out on bail on drug-distribution charges arrested with more drugs, gun
A Boylston Street teen already facing two separate allegations of marijuana distribution with intent to distribute was ordered held today at his arraignment on new distribution and gun-possession charges, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.
Jonathan Leon, 19, was arrested at his 194 Boylston St. apartment Friday afternoon, where, the DA's office says, police found 18 bags of marijuana and an FEG AP9 .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol loaded with five rounds of ammunition. The DA's office says four more bags of pot were found on Leon during a search. Police obtained their search warrant as part of an investigation into gang activity on Boylston Street.
West Roxbury District Court Judge Shannon Frison ordered Leon held in lieu of $15,000 cash bail, but also revoked his bail on the earlier drug charges and a third criminal case. He had previously been arraigned on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in Roxbury District Court on March 29 and a similar charge in West Roxbury on April 27. The third charge alleges he was involved in a disturbance at a local school.
Innocent, etc.

dumb criminals
The E-13 station has a unit posted at the corner of Boylston and Washington 24 hours a day. You'd think these yahoos would think twice about criminal activity anywhere near that area.
