Bloody morning in Boston

Five people were shot after 3 a.m. today and at least two of them died - at 396 Seaver St. and 61 Stratton St., both in Dorchester. Boston Police report the Seaver Street victim was shot around 4 a.m. and was 45. The Stratton Street victim was shot shortly before 6 a.m. and was 38, Boston Police report.
The victims are Dorchester's 21st and 22nd murder victims this year (map).

Seaver Street shootings
35 years since I drove a cab in Boston and most everything has changed except the mortality rate on Seaver Street. We've got to do better than that.
Even though I've never driven a cab in Boston or anywhere else,

Seaver Street victim identified
Boston Police report he was Hayden Steven, of Brooklyn.
Stratton Street victim identified
Boston Police report he was Mark Anthony Greene.
