Police say blood and sweat gave away suspect in a double stabbing downtown

Boston Police report arresting an Everett man on charges he stabbed two people around 1:30 a.m. at North and Blackstone streets.

Both 22-year-old victims were taken to local hospitals and are expected to survive. Police say witnesses gave them a description that they broadcast to officers:

Shortly thereafter, officers stopped 3 white males in the area of the North End, One of the three suspects matched the description given. The suspect was seen to have blood on his shirt and was sweating profusely. The suspect was brought back to the scene where he was identified as the perpetrator.
