West Roxbury bank held up by guy with possibly fake mustache

Boston Police tweet Peoples Federal Savings Bank, 1905 Centre St., was held up first thing this morning by a white guy with a small build and black hair. He didn't show a weapon.

That's my bank as well. Every time I've been in there there's always been a security guard right at the front, and it's not a big place. How'd he pull this off, I wonder?

Typically, bank employees, including security guards are ordered by the bank to ensure that the bank robber gets money and gets out of the bank. So, in fact, getting out of the bank with cash is astoundingly easy to do, security guard or not.
It makes a lot of sense if you think about it. Why should the bank risk a firefight inside the bank for some insignificant amount of money (to the bank) that's insured anyway?
Why would anyone use a bank where security guards are trained to try to keep the dangerous person in the bank.
