Stabbing tonight near Stony Brook T stop

Jamaica Plain Patch tweets somebody was stabbed at 190 Amory St. around 6:40 p.m. No word on the status of the victim, but the Fire Department was called around 8 p.m. to wash down the blood.

Am I the only one who notices that these crimes occur at rush hour. Come on T police, your customers are being targeted.
We All Need to Help Out
Cop(s) is often there (Stony Brook Station) during rush hours and sometimes at late hours. But these kind of crimes seem to take place when they happened to be not there. All the residents of JP/Stony Brook area need to help out by watching out for each other and notify the police asap when we see anything suspicious.

190 Amory is around the corner from the station entrance. What do you want the T police to do - walk you home?
The problem here is not the T police - it's the criminal.

I am amazed at these rocket scientists who think it's the MBTA's job to babysit people from the time they leave a subway station to the time they get home. last time I checked...the streets of Boston are patrolled by Boston Police
Stabbing took place on Amory near School Street
I just picked up the police report. The victim was attacked on Amory near School Street. He had walked down to 190 Amory (and close to Stony Brook T) by the time police met him. I'm pointing this out because there's been discussion on the thread about how this relates to people coming out of Stony Brook T.
Attacks on Bike Commuters using SW Corridor
E-13 police officers at a crime-watch meeting yesterday described a group of young men near Jackson Square attacking and robbing bicyclists on the South West Corridor bike path.
