Everett man charged with Halloween baseball-bat attack outside North Station

Boston Police report arresting Carmen Picardi, 39, on charges he came out of a Halloween party near North Station, smashed a woman in the face with a baseball bat, then rode away in a cab.
Police say they identified Picardi, allegedly clad in a baseball uniform, with the help of photos taken by other attendees at the costume party they say he was at.
According to police, officers found his victim unconscious on the sidewalk at Causeway and N. Washington streets around 2:15 a.m. on Oct. 31.
Picardi will be arraigned on Monday in Boston Municipal Court on charges of assault with intent to murder and mayhem.

Here's hoping that the guy who bashed that woman's face in with a baseball bat with no provocation gets put behind bars for awhile! He deserves that!
