Police: Red-hot fury over ice-cold snow removal leads to Back Bay arrest
Boston Police report an argument over snow shoveling in the Back Bay yesterday ended when one man whipped out two knives and dared four other men to do something about it. They did: They called 911.
Police say William Plaza, 38, of Hyde Park, was shoveling out the rear of 173 Commonwealth Ave. yesterday evening in part by tossing the snow into the rear of 175 Commonwealth Ave. Four men shoveling out that area told him to quit it, to which he reportedly replied by asking them what they were going to do about it:
The parties argued back and forth for some time after which the victims went back to shoveling snow and the suspect went inside of 173 Commonwealth Avenue. A short time after entering 173 Commonwealth Ave., the suspect came back brandishing two knives and confronted the victims. The suspect, while brandishing the knives, stated to the victims, "It's four on one, you guys throw the first punch and someone's going to get stabbed."
Plaza was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
Innocent, etc.

Wow, what a tough guy
When I was a kid, my dad always asked why prisoners weren't out in the community shoveling snow for old people in the winter. Make that his punishment.
