Teen charged with mid-day armed robbery in Eliot Square

Boston Police report arresting half of a gun-toting ebony-and-ivory duo for holding up two women around 1:45 p.m. yesterday in Roxbury's John Eliot Square:

The victims reported that they were walking on Dudley Street toward John Eliot Square when the white male suspect walked up to one of the victims and pointed a handgun at one of the victims. Both victims became alarmed and ran across the street when the black male suspect pulled out a gun also and raised it in the air at which point the white male suspect walked up to the victims and took both their handbags.

Police say they caught up with Anthony Bournival, 17, of Roxbury, at Columbus and Tremont. The victims identified him as one of their attackers, police say, adding they found one victim's ATM card on him, along with other possessions of theirs. The hunt for the other suspect continues, police say.

Innocent, etc.

They should check all the local snake-oil wagons

The other guy'll be there for sure, along with a woman who's missing an arm.

Huh?

What's so funny about being robbed? In daylight? In a relatively safe part of Roxbury?

Ask Adam

He's the one who started making references to the Stones. Don't worry though, I'm sure other people got the joke.

Personally I was wondering why Adam felt the need to mention that one of them was "ivory."

ugghhhhhhh

just ugggghhhhh

Stones? Who they?

I was thinking of this. You know, the guy from that other British band.
