When parking at a hotel garage, it's best to hide your gun and cocaine first
Boston Police report arresting a couple on weapons charges because they left a gun on the front seat of their car when they handed the car over to a valet at a downtown hotel yesterday morning.
The valet staff at the Hyatt, 1 Ave. de Lafayette, called police, who, on arrival, were directed to the room the two had reserved, where they were arrested for illegal firearms and ammunition possession. But that's not all:
The female suspect who had a dog with her was allowed to place her dog in a handbag and transported to the district station. The dog was taken to the station and on arrival to the station the dog was removed from the bag and upon doing so, officers discovered several plastic bags containing crack cocaine.
Police then added charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute against Lashay A. Perry, 22, of Roxbury and Thomas R. Cromwell Jr., 24, of Chelsea.
Innocent, etc.
