Woman shot to death early this morning in Dorchester; arrest made

Updated 8:30 p.m., Sunday.

Boston Police report finding Alessa Castellon, 21, shot to death around 3:05 a.m. at 50 Granger St.

Junior Fernandes, 22, of Dorchester, was arrested this afternoon on charges of murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.

Castellon, known to her friends as A Banga, is Dorchester's 16th murder victim this year (map).
