Brookline man charged as post-Sox Green Line groper

Scott MooreA Brookline man was arrested at Kenmore station last night on charges he grabbed a teen's crotch on the crowded platform following the Red Sox game.

According to a report by MBTA Transit Police, a 16-year-old from Greenfield was walking down the platform with his parents and grandfather shortly after 11 p.m. when Scott Moore, 44, got in between them. The teen's father thought Moore was about to try to pick his father-in-law's pocket, but instead watched as Moore "stopped short, turn his palm toward [the teen] and grab [his] crotch."

The family quickly found a police officer and Moore was arrested on a charge of indecent assault and battery, police say.

Innocent, etc.

Green Line Game Groper Gets Got!

Green Line Groper will be Back

Lets review a looney tune punches and berates her son with racial slurs and is released on 500 dollars bail. The Green Line Groper will be back on the trains before the yankees leave town.

Released on personal recognizance

Per the DA's office:

[Roxbury District Court] Judge David Weingarten released him on his own recognizance. Moore was represented today by attorney Graham Bengen and will return to court on Oct. 7.

Prosecutors asked for $5,000 bail.

Wait, what?

Did I read this correctly? This scumbag grabbed a kid's junk IN FRONT OF THE BOY'S FATHER and he DIDN'T get the (expletive) beaten out of him? Really?

And before somebody gives me the obvious answer, it's not a crime if the cops aren't looking. Cold cock him one time before the 5-0 makes the scene, and you'll get away with it. If I was a witness to this, I wouldn't say a damn thing about Dad punching the guy who groped his kid.

+1

If anyone grabbed my hypothetical son in such a manner, they'd only end up grabbing their teeth off the ground.

and if you reported the

and if you reported the indecent A&B to the police and the perp was arrested I'm sure his attorney would file cross complaints against you for A&B. The parents did the right thing.

if the guy resisted..

and took several punches in the head and a few boots to the ribs im sure most cops would look the other way. ive seen this happen a few times. the trick is that the vigilantes should not stick around for statements.

" i dont know what hapened officer. the pervert grabbed my son, several people pulled him away, and he wound up on the ground, curled into the fetal position bleeding from his nose and ears"

the cops used to do this stuff all the time.

Difficult to believe

It almost makes you wonder whether it actually happened.

If it didn't happen, that guy would be owed a huge apology. Including by UH, for putting up his photo when the information sounded suspicious enough that holding off might be prudent.

hope you don't sit on the

hope you don't sit on the jury

Huh?

Why would that be?

Sounds a lil Sketch

Sounds a lil sketch to me, have you been in Kenmore station after a game. It's packed, you get pushed and bumped like crazy. Also, who thinks immediately there is a pick pocket. A little odd? I mean the guy does not look like a pick pocket. Also, there has to be more to be released without bail. The judge saw more than us so, I think this guy did not deserve this at least. If he is found guilty then yea publish away. But this is a little extreme.

Innocent, etc.

What part of "Innocent, etc." don't you understand?
