Early morning stabbing leads to shut down of Roslindale Square street, discovery of crack cache
Evidence markers dotted both sides of Corinth this morning.
Updated Monday evening.
Boston Police report an argument outside the Imperial Kitchen around 5:30 a.m. turned bloody when one of the participants pulled out a knife and stabbed the other.
The victim was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital and is expected to survive, police say. The stabber, meanwhile, managed to slice himself with his own knife before running down Corinth toward Fornax, dripping blood along the way - which gave police an easy way to track him to a Corinth Street apartment.
Michael E. Cole, 46, who was himself taken to the hospital, was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, mayhem and possession of crack with intent to distribute after he gave police permission to search his apartment and officers found "a plastic bag containing 19 individually packaged bags of crack cocaine.
Innocent, etc.

I was wondering what that was
When I went by on a bus around 8:35, it was all taped off, with the little plastic crime scene markers, but only two cops blocking off each end. Must have been a traffic nightmare for folks on Belgrade Ave.
Glad I took the early train...
This is hitting a bit close to home. In fact, about five blocks away from home. And first thing in the morning? Really now...
Friendly Stabbing
I heard it was 2 friends out partying all night and they stabbed each other (one in face and ne in hand). Also heard once arrested they both confessed and said things police shows tell you what not to say.
