South Boston convenience store robbed at gunpoint in middle of day

Boston Police report 3 D's Variety, 249 E St., was held up around 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, by a white man, around 22, 5'10" and 180 lbs. He had a white T-shirt pulled up around his face and a black handgun, police say, adding he got away with $300 to $400.
