Man found shot to death inside car on Homestead Street

Boston Police report finding a man in his 40s dead of a gunshot wound around 8:55 p.m. outside 151 Homestead St.

He is Boston's seventh murder victim this year.

If I heard correctly, at least two were seriously injured (this one died, apparently) in separate shootings last night and possibly a third was grazed. One was over by Talbot Ave. Interesting what Menino via Davis allows to be released on the BPD website. What's that six murdered in less than three weeks? I see blame has shifted from scooters to global warming.

Boston Police report he was Reynaldo Vittini of Roxbury.
