Suspect arrested for Fenway knifepoint robbery attempt

Boston Police report arresting Samuel Ortiz, 30, on charges he held a woman up at knifpoint around 12:15 a.m. at Boylston Street and Park Drive.

Police say Ortiz went up to his victim and asked for some change:

The victim reported that when she declined the request, the suspect stated, "Give me your (explicit) cash." Officers were advised by victim she did not have any money and advised the suspect. The suspect placed his hand on her shoulder and had a knife in his other hand and made gestures towards the victim's abdomen area.

Police say officers found Ortiz wandering around the area not long after.

Interesting two articles about the Boston Police making seperate arrests for armed robberry on Park Dr. and the Esplanade. Question both locations are state property so where were the state police ?? Another example of why they should get out of the city and let the real cops : BPD handle their city.
