Roxbury pizza delivery guy beaten up, robbed at gunpoint

Boston Police report an early morning delivery run ended in a beatdown robbery on Moreland Street.

Police say a driver had rung a bell at a Moreland Street address around 3:30 this morning only to be told nobody there had ordered anything:

The victim stated as he was leaving the area, the two suspects offered to purchase the food from him. The victim reported to officers he declined their offer and continued to walk away from them.

The victim reported to officers the two suspects began to assault him in the face area several times. The victim stated suspect #1 produced a black firearm and pointed at the victim. The victim stated suspect #2 took his food delivery bag.

While the victim was looking away from the suspects, he heard a gunshot and the suspect ran towards Blue Hill Avenue. Officers located ballistic evidence in the area.
