Michael Kineavy says we need equal enforcement for "bikes" and "cars" (good thing cars haven't developed sentience outside of driving themselves, right?)

How many people have been killed by bicyclists this year? None.

How many bicyclists have been killed? At least 1.

How many pedestrians have been struck and killed by cars? Several.

But hey, let's run out and waste the police's time ticketing cyclists for running red lights, instead of having the police enforce traffic laws on people driving the 2-ton vehicles traveling 2-3 times the speed. And let's make sure to license and register those pesky bicyclists, because that's worked so well for drivers!

... and let's all remember that enforcement of one set of laws and regulations is necessarily to the exclusion of other laws and regulations. Because, hey, hyperbole is great.
