Carjacking at gunpoint in South Boston

Happened around 11:15 p.m. on Sunday at Dorchester Avenue and D Street. Police are looking for a gray Camry, Mass. registration 793-JL6, occupied by two Hispanic males, one of whom may have put a gun to the car owner's head.

is now rampant in South Boston, around the various projects and the 'Seaport District'.

I believe there was a police

I believe there was a police office babysitting the National Grid construction site in front of the T stop on Dorchester Avenue maybe 1000 feet from there.. This kind of random street crime is scary.
