Police: Man breaks into Beacon Hill home, rapes woman

UPDATE: Arrest made.

Boston Police report they are looking for a man they say sexually assaulted a woman in her apartment around 2 this morning at Joy and Myrtle streets on Beacon Hill. The man also robbed her, police say.

The suspect is described as black, in his late 20s or early 30s, 5'8" with a medium complexion and braided hair. He was wearing a doo rag, a tan 3/4-length "construction type jacket," dark jeans and dark sneakers. He may have been carrying a large blue backpack.

Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area of Joy and Myrtle streets between 2 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. to contact the Sexual Assault Unit at 617-343-4400 or the anonymous tip line by callling 800-494-TIPS or texting TIP to CRIME (27463).

I believe most ATMs also have a camera that looks at the face of the person using the machine. Surely that would be a better picture than this one? (Which I'm guessing was taken when he used the victim's bank card...)
