Police: Woman robbed, chomped in Charlestown

Boston Police report a woman walking down Green Street near High Street around 1:10 p.m. yesterday was attacked by two men, one of whom took her phone, wallet and a shopping bag and then bit her left arm. Police say he disengaged his teeth only when his companion yelled "Just grab the cell phone!"

Police say a bystander tried unsuccessfully to stop the two.

The biter is described as white, about 5'5" with a thin build and wearing a black hoodie and jeans. The non-biter was described as white, about 5'5" with a thin build and dark hair, wearing a red hoodie and baggy jeans.
