Well... I missed that by a couple of hours. At some point I have to think about giving up on Shaw's on Hyde Park ave. It's a sad day.

If it's this bad now, what's summer going to be like?

No need to worry. Our elected leaders have proposed more legislation limiting gun ownership.

The answer is MORE GUNS!

Great! Another low life trying to ruin things for everyone else. The shopper, business owner and families in the Neighborhood. Note I said neighborhood....not the "hood!"

It was actually a great place to live. Quiet, 99% of people were cool. Used to take commuter rail which is fantastic to get downtown fast and easy. It really is sad this kind of stuff is happening. Most of the people there are good people. It's things like this that destroy cities.

I would like to know why this it not reported anywhere else? Its not on BPDNews or Boston.com., no where else that I can find. I would love more details. I contacted the boston police website & they told me I could stop by the station if I wanted more info, umm I think I would like more info about the shooting Before i go to where the shooting was! Does anyone have any updates? Thanks.

They don't issue press releases for every burglary or car accident.

Just random gunfire with no victims? Not really "news," but kudos to Adam for covering these incidents.

The twitter feed stated that the shooter snatched (exact words) a female off the street & then took off.(towards my house which was nice) That should be reported (with details) somewhere. Should I stay in, are the just grabbing women off the street at 7:15 at night? Shaw's is right there, I go there all the time & it would be super helpful if they had something to say! I know they can't issue a press release for everything that happens, but why is there never a report about these things in HP? If you look at BPDnews, the only thing listed under HP E-18 is about the TNT show. Come on, give me something, nothing happened all week in HP?

It was Shaw's -- it's the only way they can get people in the store.

That's pretty true, that store is awful now. But on the way home & you need cream for your coffee, you don't bother driving over S&S..
