Body found in front of South End building

Stanley Stacos tweets a body was found this morning in front of 148 W. Canton St. The homicide unit was summoned, because bodies do not normally just appear in front of South End buildings.

Boston Police report:

On arrival officers located an unknown white male wearing a brown sweater, blue jeans, brown coat, brown boat shoes and red hat lying face down on the stairs. The male was pronounced deceased on scene. No visible injuries or trauma were observed on the victim.

The Herald reports a resident going down to get his Sunday paper made the discovery.
