Man stabbed in chest at Fields Corner gas station

Around 4:40 p.m. at Geneva Avenue and Park Street.

The man was rushed to the hospital for surgery in critical condition. The homicide unit was summoned.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 50s, wearing a black and blue sweater, khaki pants and black sneakers with blue and pink stripes. He was last seen fleeing down Bourneside.

In 2005, a worker at the station was stabbed to death.
