We've had a surge of gun violence since Patriots Day
We've had a surge of gun violence since Patriots Day. I hope it's not an omen of a hot morbid summer of gun violence in Boston.
Simple.
It's ride out time in the streets. Meaning, if you want to go shoot someone you do it now. Tragedy struck on patriots day. Since then Ed and the brotherhood were working round the clock for justice. Unfortunately for some they weren't looking in the hood for the suspects. Police presence has been very minimal in the streets since then, which in my opinion is because most are exhausted and are getting rest. Plus overtime has to be a pretty penny. So yeah that's why you seen a surge of shootings since then.
mission accomplished
Do you think a duck boat parade for the cops would lead to a surge in shootings in the neighborhoods?
Hey, maybe we could put the parade route down Bowdoin street instead of Boylston.
Sounds great
Question is would you go to Bowdoin st for the parade? I'd guess you probably won't. If they're was going to be a parade let it be for Peace and the city of Boston. The cops didn't solve this crime alone. Major help from the public and witnesses is what pointed them in the right direction. The brotherhood did what they were suppose to do, they're job. To answer your question though - anytime you pull cops from the streets for whatever reason, people who are watching for that see it as a opportunity to go kill someone in a city that couldn't solve a quarter of its murders in a year with a heavy police presence.
